Our Story
My love affair with Tibetan Terriers goes back to the late 1970s. I’d decided it was time to get a dog, but what kind of dog I didn’t know. All I knew was that I wanted a dog with a long coat that was small enough to be a house dog. A friend at work showed me a picture of a Tibetan Terrier in a book, and it was love at first sight.
My first Tibetan Terrier arrived in 1979. Harrowdene’s Valentine Khadar was a beautiful black and white girl, and the two of us had a lot of fun. There weren’t many Tibetan Terriers around back then, but eventually I discovered Camelot Tibetans in the US. From that moment, I started to breed I kept OTCH Khadar’s Tashi Aisha from our first litter and renamed my registered kennel name to Aisha after her. Gail Carroll put an OTCH on Aisha.
It has been a love for Tibetan Terriers since obtaining my very first one. There are too many to name over the years, but each one has been special and contributed in some way.
